Shakespeare in the Park

William A Carrol Amphitheatre
William Land Park

Damn, we are some FANCY drunks!! A whole slew of us packed up our best snacks and booze for an evening of Shakespeare in William Land Park. Twelfth Night was on the menu and it was done in a 70s disco style which was hilarious.

For a bunch of drunks, we are actually pretty well read, educated, and love us some smart punny high-brow comedy.

Who knew?!

And Creepy Baby Arm loved it too.

Hideaway Bar & Grill

2565 Franklin Blvd
Sacramento, CA 95818
(916) 455-1331

An old favorite. The Hideaway is on Franklin with a very unassuming exterior and sparse interior which doesn't matter at all since their burgers are amazing, their drinks are strong and their bartender, O'Wendy is some damn sassy fun!

Creepy Baby Arm was just the cherry on top.

RIP Brick Oven - Giovanni's Instead

Giovanni's Pizzeria
5924 S Land Park Dr
Sacramento
(916) 393-7001

Imagine our heartbreak when we walked up to the door of Brick Oven and saw a little sign that said they were closed. BOO!! HISS!!

We loved this place. It was stuck in time with rad owners and crusty regulars and delicious pizza. We are grieving.

So, we walked across the parking lot and went to Giovanni's. Also good pizza and really easy for a big group to take over the space. Also, visited Brownie's Lounge for a night cap. That place is solid as well. Overall, the South Land Park area has some good options.

4th of July Fireworks

Undisclosed Roseville Location

So a bunch of Thursday Drunks did something for 4th of July that probably included a lot of fireworks, booze and food. This blogger was in Alpine Meadows so that's all I can remember.

Disclaimer: This blog post was during the dark days of blogging lameness. My apologies for the crappy post.

Pineapple, ginger, mint martini

The view.
Happy 4th of July!
