Boneshakers Community Brewery

4810 Granite Dr, Ste A-1
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 672-6292

Boneshaker Public House in Rocklin has been a favorite of the Drunks but it can be challenging since it is busy most of the time. If it's nice out, the porch allows for more room but you're screwed if it's raining or blazing hot. So, music to our ears, they opened up a new location named the Boneshakers Community Brewery with more space for sitting and eating and drinking beer.

Well done Boneshakers, well done.

Dad's Kitchen, Fair Oaks

8928 Sunset Ave
Fair Oaks, CA 95628
(916) 241-9365

We love Dad's Kitchen in Land Park Park so a second location in Fair Oaks for some of our more suburban members was a nice bit of news. We went to Maranello's a couple of years ago and Dad's moved in recently after they closed down. On a Thursday night it was packed with a 30 minute wait so obviously the neighborhood loves them!

Really nice beer menu, as one would expect, and all the old favorites like habanero blue cheese fries and tasty sandwiches. Overall a solid addition to Fair Oaks. Add it to the list people, you won't regret it.

Streets of London

1804 J Street
Sacramento, CA 95814
(916) 498-1388

Sometimes you go back to the beginning. This is the original site of the very first Thursday Drunks back in January of 2003. And there began the legend that is the Thursday Drunks. Now, Streets of London has not aged as well as our little gang of misfits. One full liquor license, a bad decision on the juke box and the loss of the British owner has pretty much take the soul out of this place. But, it's quiet on a Thursday night with a solid Shepard's Pie (just ignore the bar fluff on the menu), affordable beer and friends. It still has it's place, it just not as endearing as it once was.

Hideaway Bar & Grill

2565 Franklin Blvd
Sacramento, CA 95817
(916) 455-1331

Oh Hideaway, how do we love thee. This unassuming bar in Curtis Park is home to some strong-ass tiki drinks, sassy bartendresses and the tallest most delicious burgers in the area. So damn good. This visit is amazing, like all the others. The only down side was only cocktail napkins for eating the messy burgers, but have no fear! Sometime drunks Dan & Karla texted their friend across the street and she delivered paper towels! Let the eating of giant burgers continue!
