World colliding!! The night when Thursday Drunks and RED Elite running friends all went to New Helvetia. NH (as the runners like to call it) is a great new brewery on Broadway. Since they don't have a kitchen you can bring food in with you, order it from a nearby restaurant or check out the food trucks they have on rotation.

It's a great space with a nice list of beers for any palate. The RED Elite folks come here most Thursdays for the Sloppy Moose runs so the Thursday Drunks decided to crash the party...without the running.

During the summer B Street Theater had a live sketch comedy and improv troupe running. The drunks thought we could be fancy enough for that!

The cast was only four people but hot damn, they were funny. Our The Jenny even got up on stage for a bit. If they do it again this next summer, try to catch it. It's a hilarious time.

The double-header. Mongolian BBQ and then go through the men's bathroom door into the old divey Almond Tree Lounge. Also good and strong drinks. And so much people watching like you can't even imagine!

Mandaras, Jesse's Birthday

Jesse had a birthday!! He choose Mandaras in Folsom. This place is a gem in weird little strip mall in the middle of suburban Folsom. The decor is a little odd but the beer selection is fantastic! Lots of local brews, lots of Belgium beer, and knowledgeable staff to get you the right one.

The burgers are solid! Everyone had good food. Overall, if you are in the Folsom area, you need to add this place to your regularly scheduled program.
