Spectre at Studio Movie Grill
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 238-9000
Some of us drunks are a sucker for Bond films so we hit up our favorite movie theater, Studio Movie Grill for some chase scenes, martinis and Bond girls. We love the cushy chairs, food delivery and full bar. Plus, they have some seriously good popcorn!
We took over row J and enjoyed all the action and villains. Always a good time.

Boneshaker Community Brewery
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 672-6292
I've missed each time we've gone here but all the Drunks seem to like it! Chalk this up to the lame blogger post.
Things I know: Drunks had fun. Drunks enjoyed delicious food. Drunks imbibed in beer and wine. Drunks laughed, chatted and had some shenanigans.

Primo Pizza Burger & Brew
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 259-1010
We have some drunks in the Rocklin area to we try to venture out when they can make it. Enter Primo Pizza in a quiet strip mall off of Sunset Boulevard in a suburb. This place was packed on a Thursday night with families and for good reason. The pizza has a classic fluffy, doughy crust with fresh toppings. They also have gut-busting portions of pastas, fresh salads and the best thing ever - cheesy knots. Add in some crack-like ranch and we might have filled up on knots before the pizza came. Also, they pour some very generous glasses of wine, so drink up!

Noodles & Co. & Rocklin Cocktails
Roseville, CA 95678
(916) 780-1441
So sometimes you drop your business card into one of those fishbowls while you're having a work lunch and then they call you and you won dinner for six! Winner, Winner, Noodle Dinner!
Thanks to Shooter for having business cards at the ready and inviting drunks to partake. They brought ALL the noodles and send us home with rice crispy treats that were so very tasty.
Then we retired to an undisclosed Rocklin location for house cocktails. Damn fine night!

Studio Movie Grill - SPY
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 238-9000
Most of us have loved the concept of movies with drinks and food from places in other cities and Sacramento has been lacking that. Studio Movie Grill might be a little bit too fancy for me, but I'm still going to love some snacks and a drink with a movie.
The set it pretty spacious with large comfy seats, your own personal table and enough space for waiters to walk through. The food is pretty good and there is a large array of drinks. Of course it's a little overpriced, but it's the convince you are paying for. The 2 for $25 special is petty good with a appetizer to share and two entrees.
We saw SPY with Melissa McCarthy and it was hilarious! I would highly suggest it for a funny entertaining movie with your adult friends.

Out of Bound Brewing Co
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 259-1511
We love having tap rooms for our Rocklin contingent! On a very hot Thursday, this air conditioned brewery is just about perfect. They have food trucks most nights, are kid friendly and basically a great place to grab a beer and hangout with friends.

Boneshaker Community Brewery
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 672-6292
Boneshaker in Rocklin has always been a favorite but small enough that it's tough to go on a Thursday if it's not nice enough to use their patio space. So, we were pleased to see a second location with a bit more room! Larger menu, more space and a rustic, comfy feel to the place.
Alas, I wasn't there because I was gallivanting in Nashville and having a mind blowing evening at Husk. Hence the photos below.

Boneshakers Community Brewery
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 672-6292
Boneshaker Public House in Rocklin has been a favorite of the Drunks but it can be challenging since it is busy most of the time. If it's nice out, the porch allows for more room but you're screwed if it's raining or blazing hot. So, music to our ears, they opened up a new location named the Boneshakers Community Brewery with more space for sitting and eating and drinking beer.
Well done Boneshakers, well done.

Boneshaker Pub & Birth of Rick
Rocklin, CA 95765
(916) 259-2337
Rick was born and we had to have some beer to celebrate! Let's be honest...this lame blogger was working late and missed the party. But I can assure you that beer was had, food was enjoyed, Rick was toasted and birthdays were celebrated.

Emily & Darla's Cocktail Night
Emily & Darla took a bartending class with the guys from Shady Lady during Midtown Cocktail Week. They acquired some bad skills and decided to treat us to some tipples on Halloween night. Costumes abounded, drinks were had and mad respect was earned for some top-shelf cocktails.

Breakfast for Dinner
Is there anything better than breakfast for dinner at a Thursday house party? No. No there isn't. Emily & Rick were kind enough to reward our 3-story stair trek with waffles in their condo. And hash browns and bacon and eggs and sausages and mimosas and Sunny D.
We also came up with a new drink. The Dirty D. Bourbon, bitters and Sunny Delight. It's surprisingly delicious!

Sizzle Mongolian BBQ
Rocklin, CA 95677
(916) 663-5672
What to say...what to say... Mongolian BBQ is a very unique thing to eat since you build it yourself and then they stir fry up your creation. All Mongolian is good, but some are better and this is one of the better ones. Better is usually because of more variety and extra fun toppings. Sizzle Mongolian has both. If you are in the area, check it out.

Boneshaker Public House
Rocklin, CA 95765
(916) 259-2337
Come to find out a few of the drunks went to high school with the guy who opened this place. Awesome public house in Rocklin? Yes, please! Damn, Rocklin needs it. Aside from Applebee's and other crappy chains, there just isn't much to choose from.
The beer selection is well thought out and has some really great options to choose from. The food? Fabulous! The mac n' cheese is great and the nachos could fee an army. This is a place that totally gets it. It's small, you be prepared to sit on the porch. If you are lucky enough to get a table inside, you will have some convivial, drinky fun. Good times and a great place.
Drunks approve!!

Anatolian Table, Birth of Mr. Chem
Like clockwork, we come here once a year! We may have missed this one if Mr. Chem hadn't requested it for his birthday and we are so glad he did. The cuisine is Turkish, the booze is beer and wine and the owner knows what you want. So much so that when you order, he sometimes ask if you meant to order something else. Take our advice, go with what he suggests!
They have bevvy of lamb and chicken dishes, mostly with yogurt, rice and bread cubes. The flavors are not to be missed and RobotGoBen highly recommends the tea. It comes pipping hot, and in little decorative glasses. He swears by it.
So our birthday boy is a generous sort and requested we bring him donations for Toys for Tots. Isn't he great?! I think you can tell we just bought things we liked. How he parted with that Darth Vader Lego alarm clock, I'll never know. That thing was rad!

Anatolian Table Restaurant
Rocklin, CA 95765
(916) 772-3020
Oh man do we love this place! I think the single biggest reason is that when we stroll in with 10 people they pull the tables together in a square. That doesn't sound like much, but when you eat at a long table every week and only talk to your half of the table, gathering around one large table is super cool! You can have a convo with the whole damn group!
The food, as always is super tasty. Kebabs of meat, yummy rice, thing on the menu we don't recognize - how much better can it get!
The staff are very nice, and when the waitress completely overlooked Mr. Chem, she became his best friend for the evening. Only beer & wine, but that's not a deterrent.
We are starting to get freaky excited about Sea Ranch --- History Lesson Coming -- So, we all put in $2 each per week into the travel fund. With that money, we go to Sea Ranch, rent a beach house for 12 people for 3 nights and all we pitch for is the food and booze! We are so smart... SMRT!
Best part of the night was talking about any near death experiences that we may have had...there were tons! Great table topics for your next gathering.
