Every once in a while, you just need a damn burger! Burgers & Brew in Sacramento is a great place to start. They have a lovely beer & cider selection including many imports and local options too. You can take your beer snob friends here without worry.
And damn, they can make a burger. There are so many options that I think everyone can find something they love. Great fresh salads with more than just iceberg lettuce, a fabulous little BLT, veggie burgers, turkey burgers and my favorite - bison burger! It's lean, extra flavorful and well dressed. All their side are tasty as well.
It's usually hard to get a table in here, but they recently took over the defunct froyo shop next door and are adding on some extra space. Good for them!
All in all, just a solid, delicious option right in the heart of Sacramento. You can also check out their Davis location, but it's not quite as nice. But the food rocks, so there you go.
