We sent a contingent of Thursday Drunks to the desert this week to find themselves so we ended up with a cozy group of 7. De Vere's is a cozy pub for a stormy night with properly pulled pints and good pub food. Their happy hour (if you can get there before 6:30) is pretty decent.
The fish & chips are very tasty and more flavorful than you would expect. The shepards pie is great and you can get it with an egg on top! Mac n' cheese, crisps, fish tacos, they were all good!
My favorite drink was the wee ginger, Jameson's and ginger ale - yum. And who doesn't want to order a wee ginger!
